Configures how dates and times are used in the system.
General settings
| Business days | Typically 5 days a week. Affects the defaults of scheduling work orders. |
| Day starts at | The default time of the start of the work day |
| Periods per day and minutes per period | Set the number of minutes in the period used in calculating the through put time of manufactured items. For instance use 1 minute per period and 480 for an 8 hour day. Or use 60 minutes per period and 8 periods per day if you plan per piece throughput in hours. |
| Allow days in history/future | This is simply to prevent data entry errors of users entering wrong dates on e.g. sales order. For instance good values might be 360 days forward and 90 days back. |

| Clock codes | Used for the time clock feature to specify the reason why people clock in or clock out. Read more. |
| Holiday calendar | Block of individual days from production scheduling. |
