The file storage feature allows you to upload files from your local computer to Manu Online and have them associated with your business activities such as sales orders, items, partners etc.
The files are stored with together with "Activities" which is a tab shown on most screens in the system to record memos and other notes.
Licensing
This feature needs licensing. To check if the feature is on your account go to Admin - Licensing.
Using file storage
On any form where files can be uploaded there is a "paper clip" icon in the top right of the screen.
Either click this paper clip to browse for files from your local computer and upload. Alternatively, drag and drop the file onto any part of the form shown, in this example the item card. This will create a new activity with the file attached.
Activities are part of the PRM feature of Manu Online.

Supported file formats for document storage
Currently supported file formats are:
- jpg
- png
- tiff
- svg
If you are interested in having other fomats supported, please contact support with your request.
Viewing an uploaded file
Files can be listed on the document where they are uploaded by going to the Activity tab. Clicking the file name will open the file directly in a new browser tab. Note that your computer needs to have support to view the particular file format that you are viewing.
Activities with files are also listed on the portal main menu under Home - Files.
Deleting a file
To delete a file, delete the activity to which it is connected. Manu Online has a 30 day retention on deleted files, if you need to retreive a deleted file please contact support.
