Reports

There are two kinds of reports in the system: "pdf" and "analysis". Either kind of report can be viewed on screen or emailed as an attachment to yourself. Analysis reports are emailed in Microsoft Excel format. To view reports you would normally have an Adobe pdf view and an Excel-compatible spreadsheet program installed on your own computer.

Reports are created either from a specific document such as a sales order or from the reports drop down list on the dashboard of a main menu. On a specific document, selecting the report from a drop own list will by default open it on a new window or new tab in your browser. To have it sent by email first check the check box by the envelope item and then choose the report from the dropdown list.

The following table is a list of all reports in the system which are available from the main menu dashboards. Some reports are only available with specific optional extensions, and these are marked. Some reports need the user to have the "Show costs" role set in the Admin - Users. (Costs means purchase or manufacturing costs, it does not restrict access to sales prices and price lists.)
